Just Believe…

I want to believe that you have a plan that is so amazing and wonderful for my life. I want to believe that you are making something beautiful with my life.

I want to believe that I haven’t messed up your plan by my choices and mistakes.

I want to believe that it’s not too late.

I want to believe that I’m not being punished for past mistakes and sin in my life.

I want to believe that I am okay at this stage of my life and that I’m exactly where you want me.

Lord, help my unbelief.
I choose to believe; help me overcome my unbelief. (Mark 9:24)
Help me let go and get out of the way of your plans.
Help me to let go of the past and the people in my past.
Help me to be able to turn toward the unknown and lean into you.
Help me to surrender my plans and my priorities to you.
Calm my fears; teach me to rest in you.
Lord, teach me to believe.

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.
