Helpless and Holy

Today, my writing is featured as the Daily Dose of Encouragement at Zookeepers Ministries

But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. 

Galatians 4:4-5 (NIV)

 The story is too familiar. We have become numb to its power. Take a moment and imagine you’re hearing it for the first time. The story of a baby who was:

Born in a stable,

To a young virgin,

Conceived by the Holy Spirit,

The literal Son of God.

It sounds like a fairy tale….

    Your focus is your reality
    Whatever you think is going to happen will happen
    You are perfect the way you are, Have no doubts.
    God answers our prayers immediately in two situations
    1. When you cry out to God
    2. When you ask God to point out the unrecognized sin in your life
