Friday: When We Need Grace for Ourselves

“Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.’ And you forgave the guilt of my sin.” Psalm 32:5, NIV

This week, we have discussed the struggle of desiring to impose justice on others while we benefit from boatloads of God’s grace. We talked about how to show grace and mercy to others. What about when we need grace ourselves?

Tuesday: When I am Falsely Accused

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9, ESV

After a hectic day at work, I took my dog for a walk. Ambling around the neighborhood in our usual circle, an irritated voice pulled me out of my thoughts.
