Friday Flair 07.10.09

friday flair Well, I haven’t posted a Friday Flair in a couple of weeks. I plan to post every other Friday going forward. So, here goes…

  • My hometown was featured on the national news this week! That is a big deal when you come from a town of only 4,000! Check it out HERE.
  • I went to a CD Release Party last night. I am now quite smitten with the music of Sandra McCracken. Especially THIS SONG, which I have been playing on repeat all day (and I just found out it was featured on Grey’s Anatomy last season!)
  • Most of my favorite blog posts lately have come from Jon over at Stuff Christians Like. He totally cracks me up with posts like THIS and THIS. Then just when you’re not expecting it, you get something life-changing like THIS.

Friday Flair verses this week:  What desert road is God using in your life right now?

Happy Friday!

  1. I spent half an hour reading posts on SCL tonight; there are some real gems there. I especially like the post about giving the gift of going first.

Thanks for the music share; Grey’s features a lot of awesome music.

    Happy weekend sweet friend!

  2. Oh, btw, I think Jon is speaking at Cross Point this Sunday (or was it last Sunday?). Anyway, you might want to attend the evening service if so.

  3. Thanks for the reminder. Jon is speaking at Crosspoint Community Church on July 19th. I will be out of town that weekend (sad!), but I meant to post that info for the Nashville readers.

Happy weekend to you! Let’s catch up soon…

That’s so cool about Waverly on NBC! I’ve totally been there! 🙂

  5. OK- I can already tell we are going to be fast friends. I LURVE Stuff Christians Like and Jon, of course. He’s even my facebook friend.
And I can’t wait to quiz on on WordPress!
